This site has been created for the express purpose of showing why immigrants - even lower skilled and less educated immigrants are vitally critical for America's future. Whereas other pages have been giving arguments with sources as why immigrants are useful - this is a call for action page. The first step is allowing more immigrants into the United States. Tell your representatives that you want to allow more immigrants, you want visa reform and a general amnesty for the illegal immigrants in the country currently. Remember, it'll earn the country as a whole money, and almost certainly you in particular. Tell them you want to bring back the economic growth of the early 20th century.
The second step is integrating the immigrants we have. This actually isn't too hard - immigrants in the US integrate fairly quickly - either within the first or second generation on average, with very few differences between the native population and third generation immigrants. To aid further immigration, other countries have had cultural classes for new immigrants as well as language classes.
The last step is providing a path to citizenship for these immigrants. Currently the road to citizenship is difficult and hard to get. This stands in stark contrasts to America's and the average American's best interests. As demonstrated elsewhere on the site, a less painful path towards permanent residency and citizenship would lead to substantially higher economic growth.
